Juliete lives and works between South East Cornwall and London. She studied Fine Art at the University of Plymouth and is undertaking post-graduate study at Camberwell School of Art. Her work is observational abstract exploring the changes caused by climate, weather, tides, development and pollution an both rural and urban landscapes. Some of the works are micro images of very small portions of land; others are more recognisable as full images. The work has a seasonal quality as her main studio is her garden. Juliet’s Blog thegardenpainter is regularly updated with new works and observations on the restrictions and pleasures of working as a painter in a garden.
The works are mixed media using ails, acrylies, inks, waxes and chalk paints. Juliet regularly exhibits in both the west country and London. She has also worked commercially for clients in many parts of the world.
Juliet is represented in the West Country by Becky at The BoatHouse Gallery, Plymouth.
